TROY -- Doberman -- male -- 60 lbs -- 6 years -- red -- Big Baby We are always saddened when an adopted dog is returned to us, no less when the dog is described as "perfect." Evidentially "perfect" wasn't good enough. Troy is a bit needy, which means Troy didn't get much attention in his past home. How can that be, if you're an affectionate, mindful, "eye candy" dog...truly a great guy? Doberman fans know the breed is loyal, often goofy, and there's always a nose under your hand for a pat, treat or both! Troy also demonstrates the watchful behavior of the breed. They don't miss much! At Troys first adoption show, he was a little nervous but enjoyed the treats and attention he received. He was the greeter dog and did well with people of all ages and all dogs too. He was very curious but constantly checked the aisle for his foster mom. We would like to find Troy a home where the adopter is mostly at home and has a backyard for him to "patrol."
